What is Sprint Football?
Founded in the 1920’s and formerly known as “Lightweight Football”, Sprint Football gives smaller athletes an opportunity to play at the collegiate level. Players must weigh 178 pounds or less and are weighed-in twice a week prior to games. The game is full contact and played by NCAA rules. It’s a fast-paced, action-filled affair that has grown in popularity and now has ten league members, forming a North and South Division of 5 teams each. For more information about the Collegiate Sprint Football League and this unique sport, visit www.csfl.com.
