Coach Matt Sherman enters his third year at the helm of the Army West Point men's rugby program. In his two seasons with Army the team has continued the programs tradition as a national powerhouse. Sherman was a three time collegiate All-American, played in UK with Oxford University and Australia with Randwick, and is a two time Rugby World Cup veteran with the USA National Team, as a player in 2003 and a coach in 2011. His previous collegiate coaching experience includes Cal-Berkeley, San Diego State, and Stanford University where he coached numerous National Champion and Final-Four teams. Prior to coming to West Point, Sherman was co-founder of Nike Rugby Camps.

Captain Dave Geib is a current Captain in the United States Army and former helicopter aviator. For the last three season he has served as the men's rugby team Director of Operations. Geib is a West Point graduate ('11) and former Collegiate All-American. After graduating from West Point he has been involved in numerous USA 7's National Team camps as part of the United State Army's World Class Athlete Program and has helped lead the All-Army 7's team to five straight 7's Armed Forces National Championships.

Marty Veale, a native of Christchurch, New Zealand, enters his second season at Army.
He attended the Southland Polytechnic, graduating in January 2000 with a degree in Automotive Engineering. While working full-time Veale pursued his love of Rugby Union landing his first professional contract the same year with Canterbury, a national provincial team.

John Banarhall enters his third year coaching the Army West Point men’s rugby program. Banarhall serves as the Head Coach of the Developmental Squad and Recruiting Coordinator.
In addition, he coaches the U-16’s for USA-Rugby and Eagle Impact Rugby Academy. He is currently the U-16 Head Coach.
